About RX TeamThe RX team, abbreviation of Retail and Experiential, is a function within Cheil UK that specialises in the Retail and Experiential activations. We provide an end-to-end service to our clients from strategic planning, design, production and operations of retail stores (permanent & temporary), pop-up activations, FF&E production to roadshows and events (new product launches, media events and more). The Opportunity Reporting to the RX Senior Account Director covering our primary clients direct retail channel, The RX Project Manager will independently manage selected experiential and retail delivery projects, or specific work-streams in larger such projects ensuring that the client needs are met and exceeded. The role will blend the requirements of being appropriately client facing with a need for strong end to end project management ideally with an experiential or events background . You will utilise the relevant agency and external partner resources to ensure all projects are delivered to the highest quality, on-time, within scope, and budget. Depending on the specific projects the role will involve some travel to clients, partners and UK retail sites as required. Key
Responsibilities:
Support the Senior Account Director in the management and delivery of key experiential/events and retail projects related to our clients diverse estate End to end responsibility for the planning, management and delivery of allocated projects Ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and to agreed specification Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met Manage project status reporting with stakeholders Create, deliver and manage briefs into the business for delivery Participate in the development of integrated solutions that leverage agency offerings and are mutually beneficial for the client and the agency Manage and coordinate project deliverables with various stakeholders, including Account, Production, external sub-contractors and the clients Identify appropriate project resource requirement, work with the Account Director, Production Director and HoD to recruit necessary contractors / specialists where required Assist reconciling costs against budget and full budget management Evaluate the success of the project against project planning Maintain and build key relationships with existing managers within the Agency and additionally with clients where possible Support senior account team members - provide essential support on major projects across the RX team when required Skills:
Proven track record of managing full delivery of experiential/events and retail delivery projects Strong IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) Ability to manage workloads effectively and multi-task. Experience in a PM methodology advantageous Manage budgets, control costs and will recognise opportunities to maximise commercial potential Ability to meet tight deadlines Teamwork - able to work closely with team members across the Agency Well developed, positive interpersonal skills Able to take independent, proactive action to resolve challenges Solution driven (effective problem solving skills), ability to provide alternative plans when required Solid organisational skills and sharp attention to detail Excellent communication skills - both spoken and written in English Strong presentation skills - clear, concise, effective skills for briefing clients, team members and externals Experience in technology retail or Telco advantageous Requirements:
Degree educated (desirable) 3-5 years of experience in Experiential/Event and/or Retail Delivery Project Management (client or agency) The responsibilities contained within this job description are not an exhaustive list.
