With our combined resources CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community.ResponsibilitiesJob Summary / Purpose The physicist works with the Radiation Oncologist, Dosimetrist, Radiotherapy Technologist and others to assure the accurate delivery of all aspects of a treatment prescription. He/she is directly involved in patient care whereby his/her decisions in the treatment of the patients contribute to optimal safe and effective patient care. Responsible for calibration of machines, office radiation safety, quality assurance of diagnostic and therapy equipment and accessories. Essential Key Job ResponsibilitiesPerformance specification, acceptance testing, and commissioning of new equipment. Development and maintenance of quality assurance programs for all treatment modalities, localization procedures, and computational equipment to assure that patients receive prescribed doses within acceptable degrees of accuracy. Maintenance of all instrumentation required for calibration of sources, measurement of radiation and calibration of doses. First-order maintenance of treatment units in conjunction with the service technician. Other duties as assigned by management. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Required Education and Experience The clinical medical physicist should have a B.S. degree in physics or equivalent followed by a graduate degree (M.S. of PhD) in medical physics. ABR therapeutic Physics Board Eligibility Required Licensure and Certifications BLS Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training Knowledge: An understanding of the equipment, systems, and procedures required to deliver radiation care to our patients, and/or the ability to find that information or resource as needed. Skills: The ability to communicate ideas, directions, and solutions clearly, both verbally and electronically, to patients, staff, and physicians as needed. Abilities: The ability to analyze complex and complicated problems and situations, and formulate effective and appropriate solutions using the resources available and/or requesting additional resources as needed. Then communicating these solutions clearly and ensuring they are effectively implemented.Pay Range$69.93 - $111.89 /hourEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
